Controls Trainer is a simplified simulation of one air handler zone with a hot water coil and a chilled water coil, each on a 3-way valve. The Pneumatic tab runs it on control air; the DDC tab runs the same equipment from a digital controller.

• Pressures, spring ranges, signals and sensor values are typical, not from one manufacturer. Always work from the job's control drawings, sequence of operations and the product data.
• Compressed air tanks store a lot of energy. Never defeat a relief valve or a pressure switch, and bleed a line before you open it.
• Time is sped up, and the failure scenarios are exaggerated to show why each protection matters.
